Children’s Rhyme Seven

Colyne Stewart
Sep AS XXXVII (2003)

I once knew a Pelican,
He helped out all the time.
He also had a Laurel leaf
For knowing how to rhyme

He wore the most outlandish clothes
You have ever seen,
Plaids of yellow, brown and red
Purple, orange and green.

So many colours all at once
They truly hurt the eye,
But we still love him anyway,
That Hector, what a guy!
